2012 LLCW Leadership Development Conference

The Lionel Lee Jr. Center for Wellness will host their 1st Leadership Development Conference April 27 – 29, 2012 . The theme for 2012 is “EMPOWERED”. As Leaders in our communities we are EMPOWERED to reach HIGHER and live GREATER. The Leadership Development Conference is designed to help each individual become “EMPOWERED” to succeed in achieving their goals and fulfilling their purpose.
A team of dynamic speakers will facilitate the weekend. Empowerment workshops will be led by Lamont Bennett; Rev. Dorothy Harris; Elder Claude Bowen; Lauren Enlow; and Rev. Rose Hardy. And what better place to have this event than the Nation’s Capital, Washington, DC…actually right across the Potomac River in the beautiful area of Crystal City in Arlington, VA.
THIS EVENT IS A FUNDRAISER AND PROCEEDS WILL BE USED TO OBTAIN MEDICATIONS AND CONDUCT PROGRAMS THAT PROMOTE HEALTH AND WELLNESS IN OUR COMMUNITIES!
Participants can register for only $99. Payments can be made through our website www.llcwellness.org via PayPal or a check/money order can be sent to one of our mailing addresses below along with the Registration Form.

The Embassy Suites Crystal City will be our Host Hotel for the Conference. Rooms are available starting at $119 plus tax per night for a 2 room King Bed suite and $129 for a 2 room Double Bed suite. Cost includes a daily Manager’s Reception each evening and a hot buffet breakfast each morning. Each additional person in the room is only $10 per person for the King Suite and the Double Bed Suite. The Embassy Suites Crystal City offers daily, self parking and LLCW participants will be offered a discounted self parking rate of $12 per day.
